Our Principles
1. Client satisfaction - Our foremost goal is client satisfaction. We won't rest until each and every client is delighted with
our service.
2. Transparency, honesty, and integrity - We will not withhold critical
information from clients we work for. We will
give clients the information they need to make an informed decision.
3. Transaction cost consciousness - We will make all efforts to
lower transaction costs and protect your equity by providing the
services appropriate for you with maximum efficiency. The bottom line
is that the benefit of the services we provide will always exceed the
cost.
4. Team-oriented - Our contractors and consultants work as a team to make
sure clients receive only the highest quality service. Every client
will have a single contact who is responsible for the task. Behind the
scenes, a specialized team is working to make sure the project is completed
smoothly.
Charles later turned his attention to developing downtown properties.
He would hire teams of horses to clean and improve the land in order to
provide commercial property and housing for Canton's burgeoning economy. This experience has proven to be the foundation of over one century of real estate knowledge.
Other ventures in which Charles was involved include automobile manufacturing, APEX appliances, which became part of Electrolux, and coal mining.
A Brief History
Kolp Real Estate has a storied history in the industry. Charles A. Kolp (third from left), who founded the company in 1900, is shown in this photo (left) with his family.
Early in his career, Charles partnered with William Hoover in building the Akron-Canton Railroad to provide a better means of shipping goods from Canton. Below is a picture from the railroad inauguration.
